Chandraprabha Vati acts on all three humours of the body. It pacifies vata and pitta and assuages the kapha humour. In addition, it is rejuvenative agent in ayurvedic medicine, which is used to preserve proper bodily function and to rectify metabolism. Therefore, it is beneficial in almost all diseases related to different organs.

 

 

 

In diabetes mellitus, when blood glucose increased from its limits, you may have sugar in urine. In this condition, Chandraprabha Vati is useful and can treat this within few days. It also has its effects on blood glucose levels. It increases production of insulin and decreases insulin resistance. Therefore, it is widely prescribed ayurvedic medicine by ayurvedic physicians.

  1. Diabetes mellitus
  2. Urinary and kidney diseases – urinary tract infections (UTI), frequent urination, burning in urination, albumin in urine, kidney stones, chronic kidney failure, polycystic kidney disease
  3. Abdominal diseases – constipation, flatulence, bloating, abdominal pain, abdominal cramps, indigestion, abdominal distension
  4. Joint and muscular pains – low backache, osteoarthritis, gout or hyperuricemia, osteoporosis, fibromyalgia
  5. Respiratory diseases – common cold, chronic coryza, cough due to weakness of lungs or body, rhinitis, asthma and bronchitis
