Literally meaning “five actions”, Panchakarma is the process of removing unwanted toxins from the body. According to Ayurveda, our body is crisscrossed by channels or tube like structures which aid a number of physiological processes such as breathing, blood circulation, supply of nutrients, and filtration of toxins.
The accumulation of these toxins in the body leads to the occurrence of diseases which further clog our microscopic and macroscopic channels. Panchakarma therapy is used to remove these toxic clogs from the body in order to normalize the physiological process.
