Abhayarishtam

Abhayarishtam is ayurvedic health tonic categorized under herbal wines or herbal supplement. It is effective natural remedy for abdominal discomforts such as chronic constipation and flatulence. It aids in passing wind and stool from the intestines and rectum. It softens the stool so it is very beneficial for patients suffering from hard stools.

Main Ingredients of Abhayarista

Terminalia chebula and vitis vinifera are main ingredient in Abhayarishtam. Terminalia chebula is also termed as chebulic myrobalan and yellow myrobalan. Both have mild laxative effects and soften the stool.

In ayurveda, both are known as rejuvenative agent and acts as antioxidant. Terminalia chebula is purgative, astringent and stomachic in action. Vitis vinifera soothes the intestinal wall. Overall medicine value of Abhayarishtam depends on these two ingredients.

Pharmacological action of Abhayarista

Vitis vinifera present in Abhayarishtam softens stool by its soothing impact on intestinal walls. Therefore, it aids easy passing of stool. Moreover, vitis vinifera strengthens the intestines to restore natural process of defecation.
