Procreation is an essential biological process by which an offspring is produced from its biological parents. This biological process is very important to sustain human life on earth preventing the human species from extinction.

Ayurveda put emphasis on healthy diet, proper rest, Brhamhachary Palana, Sadvrutta Palana, Moksha, etc. for model progeny. But, changing lifestyle, unhealthy food habits, population control, and use of contraceptives have increased the problem of infertility in both male and female.
