It may also reduce inflammation, swelling and pain in rheumatoid arthritis and gout. It is considered to lowers serum uric acid levels. Therefore, it may be used in treatment of gout and hyperuricemia in Ayurveda world.

 

 

It also aids to dilate bronchial tubes and reduces inflammation of bronchioles. Therefore, it is used in asthma and cough.
