Kapha Diet Plan

  • Opt for foods which come with a bitter or pungent taste.
  • Eat whole freshly cooked foods.
  • Eat a lot of beans and even tofu which has been thoroughly cooked.
  • Include heating spices like black pepper, cumin, ginger and cinnamon.
  • Try and avid cold or carbonated drinks.
  • Consumption of red meat should be ideally avoided.
  • Oily foods, cheese, cake and too much nuts are also not good to reduce kapha
