According to Ayurvedic science, Gulguluthikthakam Kashayam pacifies pitta and kapha humours. It is considered to have anti-bacterial, anti-viral and anti-inflammatory properties. It is beneficial in diseases of skin and soft-tissues. It aids in reduction of inflammation and fights off skin infections.



Due to its medicinal properties, it is also beneficial in abscesses and other infectious diseases of skin. Moreover, it is used in skin conditions in which person experience more pain, itching and burning sensation.



Gulguluthikthakam Kashayam has some herbs in it that have appetizer and antacid properties. Therefore, it is beneficial in indigestion, loss of appetite and acidity.



It is noted that it lowers the blood glucose levels so helpful in patients that suffer from uncontrolled diabetes mellitus. Diabetes maily has two main reasons. One is lack of insulin production and another one is insulin resistance.
