Karpooradi thailam is an external application used traditionlly in Ayurveda for relieving pain, cramps and inflammation. It aims to give relief from pain and cramps when applied over the affected area. It is used in the treatment of arthritis and other inflammatory conditions of bones and joints.
Cinnamomum camphora (camphor) and oil of Sesamum Indicum (sesame oil) are main ingredients of Karpooradi thailam.
Karpooradi thailam is a unique Ayurveda preparation that is formulated by use of camphor and sesame oil. It aims to soothe the affected area and reduce inflammations. It is mostly used in cases of muscular spasm or cramps. It helps to relax the muscles and gives relief from pain due to spasm or cramps. In acute pain due to any injury, it is considered to work as local analgesic as well as anti-inflammatory.
There is no side effect mentioned in Ayurvedic texts or reported by a client as such from therapeutic use of this preparation. It is advisable that Ayurvedic medicine and treatment are generally considered to be safe when taken under the supervision and guidance of an Ayurvedic Doctor, but rarely may be associated with possible adverse reactions in individual cases. We recommend seeking urgent medical attention in the case of an adverse reaction.
