Indigofera tinctorea, Eclipta alba, Cardiospermum helicacabum, Emblica officinalis, Goat milk, coconut, Cow milk are main ingredients of Neelibhringadi Oil. Other ingredients are Glycyrrhiza glabra, Abrus precatorius, berberis aristata etc.
Pharmacological action of Neelibhringadi Oil
Neelibhringadi Oil is used externally over the scalp and pacifies vata and pitta humours as per ayurveda. Its massage promotes growth of hairs and beneficial in premature greying of hairs. It has anti-dandruff and anti-fungal properties so it is helpful in management of dandruff. Furthermore, it has cool potency so it cools the head, refreshes the mind, aids in state of sleeplessness and reduces the stress.
