The main ingredients are Azadirachta indica, Tinospora cordifolia, zingiber officinale, Cedurs deodara, Hedychium spicatum, Andrographis paniculata, Inula racemosa, Long pepper, Scindapsus officinalis and Solanum indicum.
Pharmacological action of Nimbadi Kashayam
Nimbadi Kashayam acts on kapha humor. It is mainly used in skin diseases and diseases due to toxins accumulated in the body. It is potent anti-bacterial, anti-fungal, detoxifier for whole body and blood purifier. Due to these medicinal properties, it is beneficial in diseases in which pus is formed.
It also lowers blood glucose level and very useful in diabetes. When carbuncles are formed in diabetes mellitus, these carbuncles become non-healing or healing process is delayed.
Nimbadi Kashayam enhances healing process and fight off infections associated with boils or carbuncles. It has very potent action on diabetes mellitus. It does not only lower blood glucose levels but also very helpful in complication of diabetes mellitus.
