Natural Treatment For Prolapsed Bladder And Uterus

A prolapse of the bladder and uterus are the common conditions affecting women over the age to 45. These two disorders may co-exist. The prolapse of an organ refers to a descend or the shift of the organ from its normal position. If not treated properly, prolapse of the bladder and uterus can worsen over a period of time.

The natural alternative treatment for prolapsed bladder using Ayurveda herbal remedies and making appropriate changes in the diet as suggested by an ayurvedic practitioner may help to control the condition symptoms by strengthening pelvic floor muscles. [1]

Cause of Bladder Prolapse

The bladder is a hollow organ situated in the pelvis. The urinary balder stores urine. In women, the anterior or the frontal wall of the vagina provides support to the bladder. A weakening or loosening of this wall due to aging or other factors can result in the prolapse of the bladder, also called cystocele.

Significant physical stress and strain occurring during childbirth can also cause damage to the vaginal wall resulting in the bladder prolapse. If it is not managed properly, the bladder may completely lose its support and descend into the vagina.

This can result in problems like a difficulty in passing urine, discomfort in the pelvic region, and stress incontinence or an involuntary leakage of urine due to sneezing, exertion, or coughing. Ayurvedic qualified may suggests treatments that involve the use of herbs, yoga asanas, and a diet to strengthen the walls of the vagina thereby may prevent the progress of this disease.

In severe cases, the bladder can descend till the vaginal opening and even protrude or drop through it. Yoga asanas recommended by the system of Indian medicine may be beneficial in such cases as they may help in strengthening the pelvic floor muscles thereby may provide an support to the bladder.

Sign and Symptoms of Bladder Prolapse

Bladder prolapse is more common in women. The most common symptom of this condition is the discomfort or a sensation of vaginal bulge that can be seen or felt.

Some other symptoms related to bladder prolapse include frequent urge to pass urine, incomplete emptying of then balder, sensation of heaviness in the vaginal area, frequent urinary tract infections, and pain in the vagina and lower abdomen.

Cystocele natural treatment using herbs which may works on the nerve ending and muscle strengthen may provide a relief from these symptoms and may also slow down the progression of the prolapse.

Sign and Symptoms of Uterine Prolapse

Uterine prolapse is a related condition that often occurs in the women having a bladder prolapse. Uterine prolapse occurs due to the excessive stretching or weakening of the muscles and ligaments in the pelvic floor. As a result, these tissues do not provide an adequate support for the uterus due to which it slips down and protrudes out through the vagina.

Women who suffer from this condition and wishing to go for complementary treatment options, may contact an Ayurvedic practitioner or doctor to seek a advice for this condition aimed at restoring the strength of the supportive tissues. [2]

Uterine prolapse can affect the women at any age. However, it is more common in the postmenopausal women who have had multiple vaginal deliveries.

A mild uterine prolapse may not require any active treatment. However, if the prolapse causes significant discomfort and disrupts the normal life of the patients, it is advisable to consult a western medicine expert.

The uterine or bladder prolapse can develop due to several factors. The major causes that can contribute to the development of these diseases are stress and pressure exerted on the tissues that support the bladder and the uterus.

Besides childbirth, several other factors can affect the supportive tissues of the bladder and the uterus thus causing a prolapse. Such factors include heavy lifting, obesity, severe constipation and frequent straining for passing stool, the drop in the estrogen levels during menopause, chronic cough, a prior pelvic surgery, and aging.

The use of natural immune booster and antioxidant properties herbs for prolapsed uterus and bladder may control the causes linked to the development of these diseases such as cough and constipation thereby may be preventing the worsening of the symptoms.

Mild uterine prolapse does not usually cause any severe signs or symptoms. However, women who suffer from a moderate to severe uterine prolapse may develop symptoms such as a sensation of heaviness in the pelvis, tissue protruding through the vagina, incontinence or retention of urine, improper bowel movements, and a sensation as if sitting on a small ball.

An improper treatment of uterine prolapse may also increase the risk of complications such as cystocele and rectocele, which refer to the prolapse of the balder and rectum, respectively.

The use of Ayurvedic herbs may be beneficial for the women to avoid the chronic discomfort and pain associated with the prolapse.

  • I have been struggling with IBS-C related gut issues for over 10 years, have been eating low fodmap for many years with no resolutions to my gut function. Recently I’ve been seeing Gurnam Saini (Ayurvedic Doctor) and in only one month of treatment with natural therapies I’ve seen outstanding results. Previously I was unable to digest foods properly/unable to have regular or efficient bowel movements (feeling very unwell due to this), back pain related to abdominal pain, having trouble sleeping and low energy. I’m currently one month into treatment and I never thought I’d be able to restore regular gut function, but I’m properly digesting foods, my sleep is phenomenal and I have a surge in energy, most importantly my mind feels clear and focused with no brain fog and I feel like myself again after years living with the stress of IBS. I’m going to start re-introducing foods in 6 months and have great faith in the knowledge and professionalism shown by Gurnam Saini and the team at Pure Herbal Ayurved Clinic.

  • I decided to take my 10 yr old daughter to Dr Saini after 9.5 yrs of struggling with eczema and food intolerances, and no solutions found but topical, long term use of cortisone creams. After only one month, we saw massive improvements in her skin, finally clearing up the majority of her eczema. This was done with herbal capsules and without needing to remove various foods from her diet. That improvement allowed us to tackle other health concerns like her consistent disturbed sleep. Now 4 months on, her skin is perfect, and her sleep is mostly uninterrupted. Any sporadic nighttime waking is for a very short period of time. And even better, now we can focus on her digestion which is my last concern for her. I can’t recommend Ayurvedic medicine enough to gently and naturally heal and balance out your body. l had done lots of reading on Ayurveda before we tried it, and all my expectations have been met and I’m sure will be exceeded in the near future. Thank you Dr Saini, for your kind and gentle consultations, and genuine interest in better health outcomes for your patients.

  • I started to get depressive mood and nightmares since diagnosed with varicocele and hydrocele. Specialist recommended me getting coil embolization to block the veins. I was hesitant with the idea of it and ignored his advice. I thought I would try with natural approach to deal with my health issues. After reading online I started to make healthy changes in my life-style and food regime e.g. avoiding inflammatory and junk food, energy drinks etc. Also reduced smoking and alcohol for 3 months. But my pain and swelling in the scrotal area did not improve. More over I started to get lack of libido, premature ejaculation and erectile difficulties. Due to that I started to remain frustrated and angry most of the time. My relationship with my family members, friends and partner started to get difficult. Finally came across Dr Saini ayurvedic medicine clinic in Melbourne. Had a detial consult with Dr Saini. His Ayurveda approach for varicocele and its related problem worked like magic for me. First month he modified my life-style and food, based on my ayurvedic makeup. He also introduced some his own blends of organic herbs and spices with daily breathing exercise. In second month I did panchakarma detoxification. Now there is no pain or swelling in my scrotal area. My manpower is back to normal (even better than earlier), having grounded emotions and sound sleep with best physical and mental health. I highly recommend everyone to follow ayurvedic life style and its natural way of healing your body. Dr Saini is best in his job.
