Pushyanug Churna Powder is an Ayurvedic remedy available in powder form. It is useful in menorrhagia (abnormally prolonged or heavy menstruation), leucorrhoea, vaginal trush or candidiasis, uterine and vaginal infections, and bleeding piles.
Pushyanug Churna Powder contains Cyclea peltata, Eugenia jambolana, Mango seed, Aerua lanata, Berberis aristata, Salmalia malabarica, Mimosa pudica, Nelumbo nucifera, Crocus sativus, Cissampelos pareira, Cyperus rotundus, Aegle marmelos, Symplocos racemosa, Myrica nagi, Pterocarpus santalinus, Glycyrrhiza glabra etc.
Some preparation of Pushyanug Churna also contain purified red ochre as a iron supplement.
Pushyanug Churna Powder pacifies vata, pita and kapha humours. It has astringent action. Due to its astringent properties, it is effective in leucorrhoea. It also aids in excessive uterine bleeding due to its properties to stop bleeding.
