Rajahpravartani Vati is an ayurvedic medicine used for treating amenorrhea or condition of absent menstruation. It is also very helpful in spasmodic dysmenorrhea, abdominal cramps and polycystic ovarian syndrome (PCOS).

Pharmacological action of Rajahpravartani Vati

 

 

 

Rajahpravartani Vati is vata and kapha pacifier. It is emmenagogues so it aids to stimulate menstrual blood flow. It might have action over the hormonal secretion, as it is also effective in polycystic ovarian syndrome (PCOS). It aids egg maturation and induces menstruation.

 

 

 

Uses and indications of Rajahpravartani Vati

 

 

 

  1. Primary or secondary amenorrhea
  2. Spasmodic dysmenorrhea or abdominal cramps or pain during periods
  3. Polycystic ovarian syndrome (PCOS)
