Rasnasaptakam Kashayam tablet is herbal ayurvedic preparation that has beneficial effects in hyperuricemia, gout, rheumatoid arthritis and osteoarthritis. It is also used in treatment of sciatica, low backache or lumber spondylosis, restless leg syndrome and pain in legs or hip.
Aplinia galanga, Tinospora cordifolia, Cassia fistula, Cedrus deodara, Tribulus terrestris, Ricinus communis, and Boerhavia diffusa are main ingredients of Rasnasaptakam Kashayam tablets.
Rasnasaptakam Kashayam tablets pacify vata and kapha humours. Rasnasaptakam Kashayam has analgesic, carminative and anti-inflammatory characteristics. Its main effects are observed on lower back and legs. It is considered effective in sciatica, lower back pain, restless leg syndrome and rheumatoid arthritis.
In addition, Rasnasaptakam Kashayam is used to lower uric acid level. It aids to reduce pain and inflammation in small joints, which are affected with gout. It works on vata defect and assists in elimination of toxins from the abdomen.
It aims to rectify metabolism of proteins, which aids to lessen overproduction of uric acids. Furthermore, it also helps to eliminates excess uric acid from the body through kidneys. Overall, it is beneficial in all stages of gout so it is beneficial in acute attack of gout as well as chronic mild pains due to high uric acid levels in serum.
There is no side effects mentioned in ayurvedic texts or reported by clients as such from prescribed therapeutic dosage of this preparation.
