Rasnadi Choornam Powder: Natural Remedies for Headache/Vertigo 




Rasnadi choornam is an ayurvedic herbal powder used in headache, catarrhal affections, and eye diseases, burning sensation of head, fainting, dizziness, giddiness, and rheumatic disease. It is applied over the vertex top of the head.




Main Ingredients of Rasnadi Choornam Powder 




Rasnadi choornam contains Pluchea lanceolata, Withania somnifera, Cedrus deodara, Vateria indica, Picrorhiza kurroa, Saussurea lappa, Acorus calamus, Curcuma longa, Glycyrrhiza glabra, Sida cordifolia, Cyperus rotundus, Aquilaria agallocha, Holoptelea integrifolia, Vetiveria zizanioiders, Santalum album etc.




Pharmacological action of Rasnadi Choornam Powder




It is rubbed over the vertex or bregma in various diseases of the head. It pacifies the vata and kapha humours. Its external application is effective in the treatment of chronic headache, rhinitis and burning sensation of the head.




It is also preventive medicine for these diseases. Probably, it has an impact on the endings of scalp nerves in headache. It might soothe the ending of nerves and gives relief in headache.
