Sathavari Gulam Rasayana is Ayurvedic preparation for women. It has all properties of asparagus racemosus as it is its primary constituent. It may be beneficial in premenstrual syndrome, pre and post-menopausal syndrome, amenorrhea and painful periods.
Asparagus racemosus is the main ingredient of Sathavari Gulam Rasayana. Other ingredients present in Sathavari Gulam Rasayana are Arrowroot, Licorice, Velvet bean, Indian sarsaparilla, Cardamom, Long pepper, etc.
Sathavari Gulam Rasayana pacifies vata and pitta humours. It is considered anti-inflammatory and has a soothing effect for uterus. It helps provide strength to uterine muscles and provide relief from various diseases related to female reproductive system.
It is coolant in potency and aids to decrease excess bleeding during menstruation. It also has effects on hormones and it normalizes their levels in the body. Thereby, it aids in infertility and amenorrhea.
