Sukumaram Kashayam tablets are extracted from various herbs. It is solid extract derived from decoction of sukumaram kashayam herbs. Sukumaram Kashayam tablets are traditionally useful in the treatment of uterine diseases, premenstrual syndrome and tension, painful periods, obesity, menorrhagia, gas troubles, polycystic ovarian disease and hernia.
Aegle marmelos, Boerhaavia diffusa, Cuminum cyminum, Gmelina arborea, Steriospermum coalis, Premna serratifolia, Oroxylum indicum, Solanum xanthocarpum, Solanum anguivi, Desmodium gangeticum, Withania somnifera, Tribulus terrestris, Ricinus communis, Vitis vinifera, Asparagus racemosus, Zingiber officinale are main ingredients present in Sukumaram Kashayam tablets.
Sukumaram Kashayam tablets calm vata aggravation and decreases kapha defects in the body. It also has calming and soothing effects on brain and mind. Therefore, it is commonly used in premenstrual tension and depression. Mostly, it may be beneficial in gynaecological diseases and for strengthening uterine muscles as well as for rectifying reproductive hormonal functions.
Due to its effect on hormonal levels, it may be helpful in cases of polycystic ovarian syndrome. It helps to normalise the hormonal balances in the body. Sukumaram Kashayam tablets have anti-spasmodic property so use of these tablets gives relief from cramps during menstruation so efficient in treatment of spasmodic dysmenorrhoea.
Moreover, it is also effective in headache associated with menstruation and treats premenstrual tension. Sukumaram Kashayam tablets are carminative so destroy wind from the intestines and helpful in abdominal distension. Ayurveda believes that hernia is caused by vata.
