Pharmacological action of Vidaryadi Leham
Vidaryadi Leham pacifies the vata and pitta humors. It acts as an antacid and normalizes gastric secretion. Therefore, it is beneficial for gastritis, heartburn and Gastroesophageal reflux disease (GORD). Moreover, it is preventive for stomach linings and heals the ulcers. Therefore, it is beneficial in peptic as well as duodenal ulcers.
Vidaryadi Leham also prevents loss of bone mass. It may be due to postmenopausal syndrome but it is effective in all conditions and underlying causes of osteoporosis.
Furthermore, it is effective aphrodisiac and strengthening formulations so it is very useful general debility, weight loss due to excessive starvation or emaciation. It also strengthens the heart and treats palpitation as well.
