Vilwadi Gulika Tablet is ayurvedic preparation available in tablet form. It is used in treatment of gastric problems or gastroenteritis, rodent bite, and insect bites. Main ingredients in Vilwadi Gulika Tablet are Aegle marmelos, Ocimum sanctum, Pongamia pinnata, Valeriana wallichi, Cedrus deodara, Terminalia chebula, Terminalia bellirica, Emblica officinalis, Zingiber officinalis and Berberis aristata.
Vilwadi Gulika Tablet pacifies kapha and vata humours in the body. It is also considered as an antidote to various animal poisons or organic poisons. Therefore, it has been traditionally used to treat poisoning due to snakebite, spider, or rat bites etc. It also has antipyretic and anti-bacterial characteristics. Therefore, it is beneficial in fever and cholera.
