Sign and Symptoms of Vitiligo or Lecoderma

The primary symptom of vitiligo is the depigmentation of the skin resulting in the appearance of white or light patches. The skin discoloration may begins on the sun-exposed parts of the body such as the face, hands, feet, and the lips. The condition may also affect the eyes and the mucous membranes of the nose and mouth. Some patients also develop premature graying of the hair of the scalp, eyebrows, eyelashes, or the beard.

Skin Pigmentation White Spots Treatments with Ayurveda Medicine

The Ayurvedic approach for the skin pigmentation white spots treatments is based on the concept of tridosha. According to Ayurveda, vitiligo is caused due to the aggravation of the pitta dosha. The Pitta dosha symbolizes fire. An imbalance of this dosha causes abnormal skin discoloration. Ayurveda aims to manage vitiligo by pacifying the imbalanced dosha, balancing the body energies, and cleansing the blood through the administration of herbs and an ayurvedic diet.

Taking vitiligo treatment using herbs and panchakarma therapy while following an ayurvedic diet can provide relief from this disease symptoms.
