Yograj Guggulu is well known ayurvedic preparation used traditionally for centuries in arthritic problems. In addition, it is useful in the treatment of Rheumatic diseases, gout, abdominal diseases, and gynaecological disorders.
The main ingredient in Yograj Guggulu are Plumbago zeylanica, Piper longum, Trachyspermum ammi, Piper chaba, Trachyspermum roxburghianum, Cumin seed, Cedrus deodara, Piper cubeba, Cardamom, Rock salt, Saussurea lappa, Pluchea lanceolata, Tribulus terrestris, Cyperus rotundus, Vetiveria zizanioides and Commiphora mukul.
Yograj Guggulu pacifies the vata and kapha humours in the body. It has anti-inflammatory and analgesic characteristics. It also detoxifies body channels so aids to proper circulation of blood and other body fluids.
Due to these characteristics, it is beneficial in gout and rheumatoid arthritis. In frozen shoulder, it helps to remove stiffness of the shoulder and aids proper movements of the shoulder joint.
There is no side effects mentioned in ayurvedic texts or reported by clients as such from prescribed therapeutic dosage of this preparation.
