Several factors can affect the early ejaculation of sperm, before the completion of satisfaction. Some fore thought can help to control the problem in some cases and others may need medical intervention.
What is Premature Ejaculation?
In this problem a man is unable to achieve complete sexual satisfaction due to early semen discharge. It may occur during the early stages of physical excitement or because of physiological issues like performance anxiety or general stress or fear.
Causes of Early Discharge
Premature ejaculation may not only be caused by a physical problem. It generally may occur due to anxiety and hyper-stimulation. Some of the common known causes are:
Vata in Ayurveda is described as life, life supporter and which gives long life, free from disorder. Moreover vata controls psycho-neuro-physiology and haemo-dynamics of sexual response cycle in male sex organ.
Based on Ayurveda physiology normal discharge of semen is controlled by sub-type of vata called Apana Vata. So any type of physical or emotional disorder, causing vata imbalance for long time, may lead to condition like premature ejaculation.
In Ayurvedic Indian traditional medicine, premature ejaculation is correlated with “Shukragata Vata”. It’s a Sanskrit word, which means impairment of ejaculation or seminal properties due do imbalanced vata dosha.
The physical characteristics of semen like volume, thickness, appearance, transparency etc. may also be compromised because of vata imbalance.
Vata is known to maintain the brain and mind activities too. Vata imbalanced cause the lack of control of stimulation and arousal senses towards the target action. So Shukragata vata, causes over stimulation, which leads to lack of control over physiological and psychological process of normal ejaculation process.
Ayurvedic treatment involves the herbal ayurvedic medicines and natural ayurveda therapies that may help reduce the anxiety, stress, habit of worrying and pacify aggravated vata.
So the herbs chosen should be aphrodisiacs, vata pacifying as well as psychotropic in nature.
